Structural materials
Construction of austenitic stainless steel type AISI 304, of the vessel and of all parts which are in contact
with the liquor and its vapor.
Main vesse l consisting of a fixed part connected to the work frame and a moving part sliding on rails. The
vessel is provided with a single operation opening and closing system with a toothed ring driven by
pneumatic pistons.Inside the autoclave two rails are installed to support the liquor vat. The vessel is
provided with two windows each side in the selvedges area to allow processing control.
In the upper side of the vessel 2 windows are placed with halogen lights for machine internal lighting.
Base structure in steel profiles made of oven painted carbon steel on which are mounted vessel and the
main system for fabric moving and for feeding machine.
Two main winding roller made of heavy thickness carbon steel pipes covered by stainless steel plate AISI
316. mounted on hermetic supports with oscillating bearing. One of the winding roll is displaceable along its
axis toallow selvedge centering and traversing by means of servo control consisting of gearmotor group,
end-switches and
driving push-button panel. Two fixed backrollers installed under liquor and fitted on bushes made of
composite material with low friction coefficient.
Driven system
Driving electric group, consisting of two gearmotors connected to winding rolls. Each group consisting of
a spindlemotor with high specific couple torque coupled with an orthogonal gearbox. Motors are driven by
means of two
inverters with speed retroaction and tension fabric feedback through a resolver and load cell, respectively.
Speed adjustment and Tension control
Speed and fabric drafting are kept constant and equal to set value during the whole fabric passage.
Fabric speed is adjusted between 10 to 120 m/min. The drafting may range between 5 to 80 kgf.
Washing and rinsing
Water feeding: filling at the vat bottom or to the sprinkling pipes for countercurrent washing or rinsing.
Automatic and proportional control of water feeding: including 3 pneumatic valves for water
type selection, one flowmetertotalizer for calculation of the feed volume; one modulating valve for dosing.
By this operation one can fill the vat to a prefixed value. External level indicator of the volume inside
the vat.
Heating and cooling
Liquor heating and cooling through an high efficiency heat-exchanger placed out of vessel. The bath
circulates insides the pipes while cooling or heating fluid is outside the pipes. Valve system select
steam or cooling water. A pipe for direct steam feeding inside the vessel allow a quick heating when
necessary.Liquor temperature control is provided by means of a thermometric PT100 probe.
Liquor circulation
Group for bath circulation with motor-driven pump protected by level probe preventing running in absence of liquor. A deviation system with
pneumatic valve allows for the recovery of liquor into the addition tank even with temperature inside
the vessel above 100Unloading device Unloading axial winding roller with folding arm.
Movement is obtained by means of a AC gearmotor driven
by one of the main inverter and connected to the roll. Movable arms with opening bar and doctor blade for
the removal of excess water.
